Box library

Box, Wiltshire Library is one of the smaller public libraries in Wiltshire. It is run by Wiltshire Library and Information Service, part of Wiltshire County Council.

The library is located in the Selwyn Hall building in Box. It has a basic website containing its opening hours and contact telephone number.

The library offers a selection of:
* Adult fiction books
* Adult non fiction books
* Large print books
* Books on cassette and CD
* Children's fiction books
* Children's non fiction books
* A selection of books for teenagers
* Free access to the internet and office software

It can also provide access to:
* The full reference and information services offered by Wiltshire Library and Information Service, as well as access to a range of online information services available from home or office PC
* Community information via the Merlin database
* Local history information via colleagues at the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre and through the Wiltshire Studies catalogue and the excellent Wiltshire Community History website which includes detailed information on Box.

Library users can search the library catalogue and reserve items they wish to borrow and have them delivered from any Wiltshire Library for their collection at Box. They can also check their borrower record and renew items.

Library staff have produced some lists of recommended or interesting titles, and many library users are now writing their own reviews. Box Library may also be taking part in some local or national book promotions.

Recent highlights have included the 2008 Summer Reading Challenge which attracted a number of participants at Box.
