Bournemouth university summer ball

The Bournemouth University Summerball is an annual event that usually takes place in early June, marking the end of the University year and start of the summer. It is generally regarded as the biggest and most anticipated event on the Uni calender and in recent years has had an attendance of up to 7000 Students. The Summerball is primarily organised by SUBU (Student Union Bournemouth University) Tradition Traditionally the attendees of the Summerball Dress according to a fancy dress/costume party Theme. [ It is regarded as a fancy dress mecca allowing for all types of fancy dress to be worn. As a result of this long time tradition the gathering of such a large crowd of fancy dress and cosutmes is regarded as a spectacle Survivors Photo At the end of then night there is a traditional survivors photo on Bournmouth beach at approx 5am.
