Boris Pelekh

Boris Pelekh is a Russian/American guitarist and composer, born in Moscow on November 17, 1981. While young, he and his family moved to the U.S.
Boris Pelekh grew up playing classical guitar and, in his teens, enrolled in the Berklee College of Music where he studied jazz performance and composition. Boris is the lead singer/guitarist for the New York Rock group hey guy, as well as a variety of other acts. In 2008, Boris Pelekh joined
Nat & Alex Wolff live band, which is led by the renowned jazz pianist/composer Michael Wolff.
Boris Pelekh's production experience includes co-producing tracks for The Zimmers, in addition to playing guitar. During his time with Daze, Boris Pelekh worked with acclaimed producers Jonathan Mover and Ron Allaire, whose credits include assisting in the recording and production of several well-known acts at Mover's Skyline Studios in NYC. In addition to his resume, Boris has also co-written music that was used on Real World and Road Rules. In 2009 Boris toured as a lead guitarist with The Upwelling in support of Third Eye Blind.
