Bodegisel II

Bodegisel II (Borogiso II of Aquitaine, Bodegiesel II, Governor of Aquitaine) was born 565 C.E. in Aquitaine, France. He was the only documented son of Palatina of Troyes and St. Gondolfus, Bishop of Tongeren. He was the Governor of Aquitaine. He died about 610 C.E. in Carthage, Africa, being murdered while returning from Constantinople.


Family

Bodegisel married Oda of Suevia. Their son, supposedly, was Arnulf, who became Saint Arnulf of Metz. Saint Arnulf of Metz is the Patron Saint of brewing.
