Bobby Joe Blythe

Bobby Joe Blythe (c.1946) is a former marine, karate instructor and currently resides in Hanford, California.
Blythe gained notoriety after posting a potentially incriminating video, titled "Jesus Taught Me" to his YouTube channel. Apparently made in 1984, the video depicts one of his then students, Willie J Dennis, assaulting an unidentified man, beating him unconscious, and stomping on the man's head. The victim could clearly be heard stating the he did not want to fight. In the description of the video, Blythe claimed that the victim was then dragged out the back and left in a dumpster.
YouTube removed "Jesus Taught Me," citing its extreme content, but the video has since reappeared on several web sites. In many cases, the descriptions accompanying the video allege that the victim was mentally challenged, because his claims of having been taught by jesus.
It is not known whether the victim survived. There has been much speculation as to whether comments posted by Blythe in text accompanying the "Jesus Saved Me" video indicated that the victim had died
Blythe's narration suggests the video was shot on 13th December 1984 and is believed to have been filmed at his karate dojo in Dumfries, Virginia.
As comments were added to YouTube during August 2009 Blythe apparently realized the gravitas of the situation and removed his account. He has since gone into hiding while law enforcement agencies and a number of Internet groups have started investigating the matter.
At least one, possibly more, people saved Blythe's other videos, some of which are highly incriminating, especially a number of videos of Blythe lecturing his black belt students regarding the behaviour that he expects of them as black belts. and a video of the Today Program from the 1980s in which Blythe and his colleague Joel Kaplan introduce their black belt female bodyguards from their company Action Investigative Services , who have all been trained by Blythe. One of the female bodyguards is referred to as Connie Jett (sp?) sheriff's wife, thus consolidating Blythe's claims that he was well connected with police officers.

A retired police detective recalled that the victim was seen a few days after the incident limping but declined to pursue charges.
