Bleed from Within is a British metal band from Glasgow, Scotland. Formed in 2005, the band has released two albums and are currently signed to the indie label Rising Records. They have formed a notable reputation on the British underground metal circuit, and are a significant band in the growing UK deathcore scene. They are also considered notable for their inclusion of significant melodic elements in their music, something uncommon amongst deathcore bands, which has lead some critics to label them as melodic death metal. Since the release of their second album Empire in 2010, the band has featured prominently in the British heavy metal media, receiving particular attention from magazines such as Metal Hammer, the biggest selling metal magazine in the UK. Recently, they have toured as support for the popular American metalcore band All That Remains on their 2010 European tour, and are due to tour as part of the Metal Hammer "Razor Tour" along with fellow British metal bands Sylosis and While She Sleeps.
