Blake Knight

Blake Knight is a songwriter, producer and artist from Dallas, TX. Blake's interest in music would start at an early age and would evolve into a successful career that would span the globe. Early attempts to start bands failed until Knight paired up with long time friend/rapper "Playdough." After having several members come and go the two would start the band "ill harmonics" and gained their 15 minutes of fame on MTV's "The Cut" show hosted by Lisa Lopes in 1998. They garnered success on the heels of their sophomore release "Take Two" and would be a featured act on the traveling music festival "Festival Con Dios". While Blake enjoyed the artist lifestyle his love for writing and production would soon be his focus. Blakes talent has lead him to work with such artists as Paula Abdul, MUTEMATH, Peter Daily, E-Roc, Playdough, LA Symphony, Pigeon John, Pax 217, P.O.D. and several others. Currently Mr. Knight is finishing up touches on his debut release "This Side of the Other Side." The new music is an eclectic mix of dreamy brit-pop mixed with though proviking lyrics on a range of subject matter from life to love to existence. Blake currently resides in the Dallas area although he spends quite a bit of time in Southern California. In 1999 he was nominated for a GMA Dove Award as the produver for the album "The Return" by E-Roc.
