It is approximately 45 minutes from Central London, just outside Basingstoke. The studio has held a variety of productions from feature films, TV series, commercials and promos. With the UK's largest permanent green screen (30m x 25m x 10m, 7.3m high), and one of the largest stages in the UK (32,000 sq ft uninterrupted floor space), it has been home to productions including Jeepers Creepers Reborn, Dumbo, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Grand Tour and Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. Black Hangar Studios features a variety of production facilities and services, such as finance, post production, and deliverables. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Black Hangar Studios hosted the BBC for two back-to-back television series, before becoming home to a technically groundbreaking live studio audience television show by streaming giant Netflix, when restrictions lightened. Black Hangar Studios has continued to develop over the last 10 years, expanding its capabilities and facilities to include modern technologies including virtual production. With an extensive in-house crew, Black Hangar Studios continues to produce its own film and television productions. In 2022, the studio released their fourth instalment to the Jeepers Creepers franchise, theatrically worldwide, as well as a Crackle original sci-fi tv series, inspired by the cult smash-hit Starship Troopers. Amongst the release of two new projects, the team at Black Hangar Studios filmed 97 Minutes, featuring Alec Baldwin, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and MyAnna Buring.
