Bishop John Wynn

Bishop John Wynn is a pastor, born January 29th in Reno, Nevada, Bishop Wynn is the son of the late Rev. Willie J. Wynn and Mrs. Rochelle Crisp Wynn. Bishop Wynn was a 3rd generational pastor in the Church of God in Christ. His father served as the Assistant Bishop of the State of Nevada in the Church of God in Christ. His father was the first African American on the Governor’s Cabinet in the State of Nevada as the Equal Rights Commissioner under Governor Paul Laxalt. His father was also the Commissioner for the Housing Authority. His mother has served faithfully in ministry for the past 60 years and is currently the Director of Women’s Ministries for International Church Fellowship. Bishop John Wynn is a devoted father of eight beautiful children; four sons and four daughters. He is the husband of 18 years to Mrs. Edith Wynn.
Licensed in 1991 and ordained in 1994, Bishop Wynn was a Sociology major at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, he also attended Mason Bible College and received his Associate of Arts degree in Social Science from Sacramento City College. In 2009, Bishop Wynn became the Presiding Bishop, President and Chief Apostle of the International Church Fellowship, Inc. International Church Fellowship is known as an association of fellowship of churches and credentialed ministers from local Pentecostal fellowships of like faith throughout the United States and abroad.
Bishop Wynn is a man with a God-given mission for ministering to the whole man, spirit, mind, and body. Greater Harvest International Church Fellowship is one of the newest Pentecostal Churches in Henderson, Nevada. The members are praying to set a new standard for ministry to the Christian and to the world. As pastor of Greater Harvest International Church Fellowship for 14 years, Bishop Wynn is a recipient of numerous recognitions and awards for his service in the community. Bishop Wynn has overseen Greater Harvest International Church Fellowship’s growth from a membership of only he, his wife and five children in 1995 to multiple churches in three cities and in two states.
Because of his passion for helping youth and young adults in the community; Bishop Wynn founded and is the current president of New Levels Community Development Corporation; a non-profit organization, which does business as New Levels Child Care Center, New Levels Training Center and New Levels Independence Program. For the past five years New Levels has offered safe affordable childcare as well as education and training, alcohol & drug treatment and counseling, psychosocial rehabilitation, basic skills training, parenting classes, mentoring and community activities in Las Vegas and Henderson.
Bishop Wynn operates in the five fold ministry. He is an Apostle, a Teacher, a Prophet and has been an Evangelist for 20 years. Of the 14 years he has been a Pastor; eight of which had multiple churches. He is the founder of a television ministry, which has aired in over 140 countries in the past 12 years. Bishop Wynn is an author of two books and the owner of J&E Video and Publishing Production. He is also a producer, songwriter and the owner of Wynn-Win Enterprise LLC which recorded his music CD titled Perspective.
