Bioethinomics

Bioethinomics is a term used to convey the process that new biological techniques must go through in order
to become mainstream.
Bioethinomics is an amalgam of the terms Biology, Ethics and Economics. When
represented as a Venn diagram the common area to all three is when biotechnology exists
in a socially acceptable form. From stem cells to cloning, each biology technique goes
through the process of an ethical review using the four considerations and an economic
review. Is the process an economically viable process? If the technique exists then
ethics and economics duke it out. When the three can find common ground then the
study and use of the biological technique is accepted and viewed as socially acceptable.
