Composer Billy Mallery has been acknowledged and awarded for his exceptional ability to merge music with sound. His works can be heard in films, records, commercials, trailers, video games and logos.
He plays numerous instruments including piano, guitar, lap dulcimer and djembe, and performs on most of his projects.
Billy also practices and performs the rare art of Tuvan chanting (harmonic singing), and teaches it as well.
He founded and produces the musical project "hover", which he calls "a euphoric groove exploration".
One of his more notorious releases is a CD titled "Haunted World" (a unique dark soundscape made for Halloween lovers).
Billy is also an experimental filmmaker. Specifically, he shoots total solar eclipses of the sun (using time-lapse photography) and then edits and scores each piece. The compilation of films is titled "Totality", which he describes as "a lifelong dance with the moon's shadow."
