Bien-Air Medical Technologies

Bien-Air Medical Technologies develops, manufactures, and markets instrumentation devices and systems across multiple dental and surgery specialties. The company operates eight subsidiaries from its Bienne, Switzerland headquarters.
Bien-Air was founded by David Mosimann in 1959 to develop medical instruments that would improve work for medical practitioners. The company developed its first air turbine dental drill in 1965, and the first all-electric dental drill in 1970.

Three of the company's products appear in the American Dental Association's Dental Product Guide; each of these is a multi-function dental handpiece (drills, colloquially).
