Bev Gray

Bev Gray (born June 2, 1962 in Washington, D.C., United States) is an American businesswoman and CEO of Exhibit Edge Inc., a trade show exhibit company, located in Northern Virginia, Washington D.C.
Early life and education
Bev Gray was born on June 2, 1962 in Hillcrest Heights, Maryland, United States, the youngest of seven children from father Reginald Gray Belcher, who served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a fighter pilot, and mother Veronica Pearl, a self-employer for 60 years as an interior decorator specialized in the design and production of custom window treatments. Beverly attended Holy Family Elementary School and La Reine High School, and then she completed three years at University of Maryland, College Park, majoring in fashion design and then computer science.
She married Michael, current Exhibit Edge’s Vice President, on October 20, 1984. They moved from Maryland to Virginia in March, 1985. They have two children, Jessica and Kevin.
Business career
After her junior year at University of Maryland, she worked a summer job as a receptionist at MCI Corporation in Washington, D.C. An offer was made to her to continue with in depth computer training and classes if she remained as a full-time employee. She remained employed there for five years until the birth of her daughter. For the next five years, Bev was unemployed until ETC Exhibit Services was found. The company later changed its name to Exhibit Edge Inc. in January 2000.
Bev and company also participate in charity events. Graphic and Exhibit product and service donations are given for a variety of non-profit organizations including American Red Cross' “In The Bag“ Event, Main Street Child Development, Virginia Women’s Business Conference, Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce, Junior League of Northern Virginia, Women President’s Education Organization, InNOVAte! Conference, ACTiVATE at UMBC, and several others.
Political engagement
On May 2, 2012, Gray hosted Republican presidential nominee, Mitt Romney, who spoke at Exhibit Edge, remarking on President Obama’s record on taxes, regulations, and jobs.
Gray spoke at the 2012 Republican National Convention, held on August 29, 2012 in Tampa, Florida. She refuted current President's politics towards small businesses stating that when businesses grow, unemployment goes down and people thrive. She also gave public support to Romney, saying he knows and appreciates what it takes to build a successful business.
