Between the Ropes is a weekly radio show that covers the world of sports entertainment and mixed martial arts. Since August 25, 1998, Between the Ropes has provided news and commentary of the state of World Wrestling Entertainment and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. The show has recently begun covering mixed martial arts companies such as Ultimate Fighting Championship. The show is hosted by radio personalities Brian Fritz and Brian Dickerman. In 2003, Vito DeNucci joined the duo to provide an in-ring perspective to the weekly show. The show formerly broadcast on Central Florida's 740 The Team but because of the station's format change to Mexican radio they now broadcast on on Tuesday at 6-8PM EST. Running gags *Whenever Mark Henry is mentioned, the presenters start talking as though they are Mark Henry, using the voice of Fat Albert, using his trademark 'Hey hey hey!' and having "him" talk about eating other wrestlers.
*Whenever The Great Khali is mentioned, the presenters mock the way he talks, talking in a deep, mumbling voice. (Formerly the same gag used for Andre The Giant)
*Steve Blackman is described as 'The baddest man in wrestling'. According to Devon Dudley, Blackman sometimes thinks of ways to kill people without getting caught.
*Whenever they talk about things that people may not want to know yet as they haven't appeared on TV yet, they say 'SPOILER ALERT!!!' in a high pitched camp voice.
*Whenever Dusty Rhodes is mentioned, Vito does a long winded Rhodes impression, ranting about topics in wrestling.
*When Chris Kanyon is mentioned, "I'm Super!" by Big Gay Al, from South Park is played in the background.
*When Diego Sanchez is mentioned, they often make references to the "Dirty Sanchez."
*When Ken Kennedy is mentioned, Vito makes a homosexual voice and say "Kenneddyyyyyy".
