Bert Oliva

Bert Oliva (born November 10, 1968) is a Cuban-American self-help speaker, master motivator and success coach. He is best known for his Belief System of ”Live life, don’t let life live you”.
Early life
Bert was born in Havana, Cuba. At 11 months old (1969), Bert and his mother (Victoria Oliva) left Cuba to move to New York. In 1973 he moved a second time to New Orleans, Louisiana where he stayed for 7 years until moving to his current residence in Miami, Florida (1980).
Career
Bert Oliva is also CEO/Founder of the Altius Group an advertising agency and brand communications firm in South Florida, sits on the Board of Directors for VieLongue and Demeter Institute. In the Altius Group, Bert was a marketing and advertising consultant who assisted mid-sized to large companies in developing business strategies and product positioning. Over 12 years of experience in launching, rejuvenating and successfully managing organizations of all sizes proves to be invaluable to his client base.
He also worked for the Xerox Corporation, where he received extensive sales training at their University in Leesburg, Virginia. Throughout his career, Oliva has been recognized as an excellent communicator, having highly developed presentational, sales and advertising production skills. These skills have proved useful many times over, not only for capturing and expressing his company’s vision, but its objectives for its clients as well. He started his speaking career by following and being mentored by such speakers as Brian Tracy, Les Brown, Deepak Chopra and Jim Rohn. Surrounding himself with the best motivators and minds of that time, Oliva began his long and rewarding career. He has attended many workshops, training programs and seminars to assist him in developing his craft, Public Speaking.
Bert Oliva has spoken for hundreds of business groups and associations, has written numerous articles for trade publications and magazines and has several books on audio. He has also studied and shared the platform with many world renowned speakers such as Les Brown, John Childers, Randy Gage, Omar Periu, Marshall Sylver and many more.
During 1994 and 1995, he was instrumental in the development of internet photography when he founded HookItUp.com. This company lead the way for new methods of online photo-galleries and event marketing around the world. He helped to structure the massive company and sold it to Social Miami who launched Socialitcity in 2001.
Besides his speaking career Oliva is also an ordained minister.
Today
Today Oliva is CEO/Founder of B.O.W.A.(Bert Oliva Wealth Academy) International and "The Potentialists Reality Show". B.O.W.A. International is a professional sales and training organization that includes seminars, keynotes, and corporate trainings. Some of his clients include HBO, Perry Ellis, Mary Kay and Donald Trump.
Based on his teachings and trainings Oliva has created a reality show called The Potentialists. Through the show he not only teaches life skills and techniques but also invites the world into his life to see what goes on behind the scenes in the seminar business.
Humanology
Oliva is the founder and teacher of Humanology. Humanology is the scientific study of human potential. He bases his teachings off of what he has learned studying psychology, physiology, neuro-linguistic programming, sociology and numerology.
