Berkshire Capital Securities is a private investment bank headquartered in New York City, with offices in London and Denver. It was founded in 1983. Berkshire Capital provides merger, acquisition, fairness opinion, valuation and strategic advisory services to financial institutions, with a focus on the Investment Management and Securities Industries. Berkshire Capital was the first firm to launch a specialist M&A practice to capitalize on emerging consolidation trends in these industries. In April of 2012, they assisted City National Corp Bank with valuation of Rochdale Investment Management, leading to City purchasing Rochdale for an undisclosed amount. This increased the assets Rochdale managed to greater than $60 Billion.
