Belper Musical Theatre

Belper Musical Theatre perform amateur musicals and concerts in the Belper (Derbyshire, England) area.
Most of BMT's productions are performed at Belper School. Smaller concerts are performed throughout the year at other venues as a form of fundraising.
BMT perform two main productions each year. These are a main show in February and a Summer Concert in July.
Origins
Belper Musical Theatre was founded in 1975 by local residents in Belper keen in Amateur Theatre but who did not want to have to travel to Derby to fulfil their ambitions.
