Bedowyn is an American heavy metal band signed to Via Nocturna records, originating in Raleigh, North Carolina. Bedowyn is a four piece band with Alex Traboulsi on vocals and guitar, Mark Peters on lead and rhythm guitar, Todd Parham on bass guitar and Marc Campbell on drums. Bedowyn has performed across the east coast and their song Snarling of Beasts been featured in the video game RockSmith 2014. Band The name Bedowyn is a play on the spelling of Bedouin Their sound combines classic, stoner, and elements of thrash, doom and black metal. They have been regarded as not conforming to one sub-genre of metal exclusively. Bedowyn's released 2 demos - Snarling of Beasts and O' Bitter Sea on their bandcamp web page before releasing their first EP Wolves & Trees in 2013. Snarling of Beasts was featured as an unlockable track on the Ubisoft video game Rocksmith 2014. In the Fall of 2015 they self-released their first full-length record Blood of the Fall, which made several critics best metal albums of 2015 The album was then later released and distributed through Polish record label Via Nocturna in May 2016. Bedowyn have shared the stage with bands such as ASG, Black Tusk, Crowbar, KEN mode, Mutoid Man, High on Fire, and Corrosion of Conformity. They are currently writing for their upcoming record.
