Batch Image Processor

Batch Image Processor is a Shareware graphical batch raster image editor for the Microsoft Windows Operating System developed by BinaryMark. Its user interface features a Ribbon at the top of the program's main window, and is organized into 4 distinct tabs that represent program's workflow: 1 - selecting images to process, 2 - specifying which effects and filters to apply to them and in which order, 3 - processing and saving results to image files, and optionally 4 - creating HTML gallery out of processed images.
Among program's features are: support for layers, ability to preview images before they are processed, ability to save a sequence of effects and filters as a template for future use, ability to find and remove duplicate images (using SHA-256 hashing algorithm), and image slideshow viewer.
The program features close to 100 different effects and filters:
* 6 resizing, resampling, and cropping filters with support for multiple interpolation modes
* Several watermarking filters (image, text, shape, and barcode) with various blending modes
* 4 convolution including sharpen, and gaussian blur
* 4 displacement filters (flip, mirror, rotation, and skewing)
* 18 color-related filters for adjusting brightness, contrast, gamma, hue, saturation, temperature, tint, opacity, etc.
* 25 artistic and creative filters (oil paint, pixelation, swirl, etc.)
* 11 edge detection filters
* 6 binarization filters
* Various other filters, including shadow- and border- related ones, and noise-related ones
The program can open images saved in the following formats: BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, TIF, SGI, PSD, WMF, EMF, PCX, DDS, TGA, RAW, CUT, DCX, LBM, LIF, MDL, PCD, PIC, PNM, PSP, WAL, ACT, PAL, and HDR. The program can save images in the following formats: BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, TIF, SGI, WMF, EMF, PCX, DDS, TGA, RAW, PNM, PAL, and HDR. To offer support for some of the image formats, not available in Windows by default, the program relies on DevIL library.
The program was developed using Microsoft .NET Framework. The program exposes some of its APIs in the SDKs that come with Professional Edition. The SDKs enable one to develop custom effects and image formats using either VB.NET or .
