Banking on Bitcoin is a 2016 documentary about the beginnings of bitcoin and how it evolved to be what it is today. The film was directed by Christopher Cannucciari. Production Banking on Bitcoin took three years to make. The film was produced between late 2013 and late 2016, and covers bitcoin developments up to the end of 2015. The official soundtrack was composed and produced by Ben Prunty. Reception A review in Bitcoin Magazine said, "Banking on Bitcoin is a good film, professionally produced... the film will give many newcomers an understandable first introduction... The overall impression is that this a good historic and ideological overview of Bitcoin's first development phase..." |
