Banjo Story

Banjo Story is the first known Beck recording. It is a home-made tape from 1988 that was never actually released, but given out for free, sold at the counter of friends' record stores, or sold at gigs. It has, however, since been discovered and made it on to the trading circuit. Several of the songs have two titles. This is because the original bootlegger made up his own titles when the tape was first copied - these are given in brackets. Beck's actual titles come from the j-card that came with the cassette, assuming it was written by Beck.
