Baanah

Baanah (ba'-a-na ba'anah) is the name of two men in the Bible.

Baanah — son of Rimmon
Baanah, one of the two sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, was a captain in army. He, along with his brother Rechab, assassinated Saul's son Ishbosheth, while he was asleep in bed. They beheaded him and brought his head to David. In punishment for this murder, David had Baanah and Rechab put to death and their bodies suspended over the pool at Hebron.
