Azad Samaj Party (ASP) is a Political Party of India. The party was formed by on 15 March 2020. He promises to work for Indian people belonging to all castes. He will strive for strengthening the voices of these communities to provide them Justice.
The launch took place on the birth anniversary of BSP founder and Dalit icon Shri Kanshi Ram. The Bhim Army chief, Mr. Azad said, he will run parallel to the party and continue to fight for Dalit rights and enroll new members. The party flag contains a white band between two blue strips, with Azad Samaj Party written in the middle. Mr Azad rose to political prominence during the clashes between Thakurs and Dalits in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur three years ago. Since December, as the protests against the contentious citizenship law started, he has been one of the vocal leaders against it.
