Avinash Chiranjeev, nicknamed Ammu, is an educator and researcher who studied the environment, informatics, information technology and management. Chiranjeev has written or edited over 14 books and more than 140 articles and book chapters . He is currently working as Head of Information Technology at The Global Open University Nagaland in Dimapur, Nagaland. Education Chiranjeev received his M.Sc. from Sikkim Manipal University and his Ph.D. from Opeinde, The Netherlands. He is working with the Indian Institute of Ecology and Environment as the Information Adviser to the Chairman and also manages departments such as theEnvironmental Awareness Cell, Multimedia, Database Management System and the EDP. As a part-time faculty member, some of the topics covered by Dr. Chiranjeev at the Buddha Institute of Technology were MIS, Programming Logic & Design Techniques, Application Programming in FoxPro, Computer Graphics and Design, Visual Basic, Pascal, P C Packages and DTP for Media, Multimedia through Animator Pro, 3D Studio, Computer System Architecture, Internet, Web Development, Oracle, Developer 2000.
