Avaz Hasanov (born 1971), A.Hasanov was on 28 March 1971.
Educational background
He graduated Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts named after M.Aliyev between 1986-1990 years.

He is a founder and head of the “think tank” Humanitarian Research Public Union 2000, and Baku House for Conflict Management Baku Film School Production (2011) which covers issues of conflict transformation, migration, and human rights issues.
From 1993 till 2000 A.Hasanov was a vice-director of the Human Rights Center of Azerbaijan (HRCA), He worked as an expert in the Department of Youth Problems Ministry of Youth, Tourism and Sport (MYTS) of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1995 - 1996).
From 1997 to 1998, A.Hasanov was a project coordinator HAYAT International Resource Centre for NGOs working on migration issues. Also, he was a member of Working Group on Migration Potential of Azerbaijan Republic, which main focus was preparing an official document on "conception of Migration Potential of Azerbaijan”. He worked as country representatives Working Group on Search of Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing People (2000-2007), Germany based NGO. He was the first national coordinator and the Member of the Steering Committee of Eastern Partnership Program Civil Society Forum (2009-2010, 2015-2016).
He has expertise in leading and participating in national and international research teams on the theme of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Eurointegration processes in Azerbaijan. Author of numerous papers and books about NK conflict, which named "Karabakh been discussed", also documentary "NK conflict: consultation with society". He has participated in many programs on human rights, peacebuilding programs also is a coordinator of several projects on peacebuilding processes.
A.Hasanov was a coordinator and the member of Steering Staff of Civil Society Forum of European Eastern Partnership Forum since 2009 and 2015.
Bibliography
A.Hasanov is the author of tens of projects regarding NK,t he author of “NK is being discussed” and the author of “NK consultation with society” documentary. That book was introduced and spread in Germany, Russia, Georgia, Armenia and NK. Today “Society for Humanitarian Researches” headed by him is organising “Video discussions for the youth in Baku-Yerevan-Stepanakert”, debates and simulation games on NK conflict for the youth.
