Austin Shippey is a witch, author, and folk magician, who has written and spoken on the subjects of witchcraft and folk magic in the modern world. He is also a High Priest of witchcraft, working with and training covens in Oregon. Witchcraft and spirituality Being interested in spirituality and the supernatural since childhood, Austin first began his forays into witchcraft in his teenage years, eventually forming covens in the Pacific Northwest. He continues to teach and practice the Craft, focusing on training, and speaks at public events on history, the cunning folk, and spiritual practice. Writing Austin's first foray into publication began with his short story "Sentimental" published in Painted Cave Literary magazine. his first novel, "The White Room" explored the subjects of feral children from a first-person memoir narrative.
