Athena School of Management (ASM) is a graduate business school based in Mumbai, India. The institute offers a two-year post-graduate programme in management (PGPM) with specializations available in Human Resource Management, Finance, Marketing or IT & Operations. The first batch of ASM will commence from January 7, 2013. History ASM was founded in 2012 with the motto: “Consilio Et Animis”, which is Latin for “By Wisdom & Courage”. This can be seen inscribed on the institute's insignia. The founders of the institute are said to be inspired by Athena, the Greek Goddess of Wisdom, Courage and Inspiration. Faculty The Dean of Academics at ASM is Dr. Sanchita C. Banerji (Ph.D., MBA, B.Ed. and B.Sc.). She was previously a faculty member at FOSTIIMA. Campus The ASM campus is located in the North-Eastern Mumbai suburb of Powai in the Hiranandani Gardens area. Associations Australian Vocational Training & Employment Group (AVTEG), a skill and education consultancy has signed an agreement with ASM to co-develop management courses, student exchange programs and other alliances with Australian VET providers, universities and consortium partners. Aditya Singh, Project Director at ASM, and Parampreet Singh, CEO & MD, AVTEG signed the agreement November 01, 2012 to formalize the process of delivering high quality courses to students at ASM .
