Atheist Community of Austin

The Atheist Community of Austin (ACA) is an educational non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas. The central goals of the ACA are to "promote positive atheism and the separation of church and state".

Activities
The ACA undertake a number of public activities and community service efforts regularly, such as blood drives and cleaning up streets through the Keep Austin Beautiful Adopt-A-Street program, and also produce the following shows and publications:

* A weekly public access cable television show called The Atheist Experience, which is aimed at explaining atheism and related topics to a primarily Christian audience.
* A biweekly internet radio show entitled The Non-Prophets, which is uncensored and features more humour than the TV show.
* A popular lecture series, usually held at the Austin History Centre, covering a number of atheist interests.
* The ACA publish The Austin Atheist, which is actually available online via the community website.
* The Atheist Eve cartoons, drawn by Tracie Harris, are a series of illustrations which often employ components of dramatic irony occurring in an ordinary situation.

Current President

Matt Dillahunty is the current president of the Atheist Community of Austin as well as being the host of The Atheist Experience. Matt and Non-Prophets Radio producer Russell Glasser have formed a counter-apologetics wiki entitled Iron Chariots.
