Atcharee Buakhiao (born 1996) is a Thai model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned as 1st runner up in the 17th Miss Universe Thailand 2016 pageant held in Royal Paragon, Bangkok, Thailand on 23 July 2016. Buakhiao is Thailand's representative to the upcoming Miss Earth 2016 finals to be held in Manila, Philippines. Pageantry Miss Universe Thailand 2016 Buakhiao (#18, Chiang Mai) was one of the 40 finalists that vied for the title. Buakhiao was one of the early favorites to win the crown, garnering the most number of special awards during the finals night; namely Miss Colorful Life, Miss Smile, and Digital Girl. However, she ended as 1st runner up, losing to Chalita Suansane (#14, Samut Prakarn) as Miss Universe Thailand 2016. Miss Earth 2016 Buakhiao will compete with 82 other delegates to be the next Miss Earth 2016. Finals night will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on 29 October 2016. |
