Atarah Richmond

Atarah Richmond (born March 24,1991) is an American Singer, Songwriter, Musician.
Early Life
Atarah Richmond was born and raised in San Francisco, the last of 4 children. The singing bug hit her early in age in her local church in San Francisco. Atarah started singing at the early age of 5. She was a self taught performer that sang and played the piano before a huge audience singing 'Christmas time is a special time of the Year'. She attended high school at Galileo Academy of Science and Technology.
Career
In 2010, she was a guest psalmist for President Barack Obama and the NAACP. In the summer if 2011, she met her manager Smiley Brown who saw her full potential to be a solo artist. She branched out of the gospel genre and straight into the secular arena. As a result of her talent in early 2012 she appeared with GLEE cast members at the Glee Live Show at the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts. She has also opened for BET Comic View Headliner, J. Red. On August 2, 2012, she had her debut concert at Tommy Ts Comedy Steakhouse opening for Tommy Davidson of In Living Color. Her first debut single "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" was originally released in 2012 and is available on on iTunes and Rhapsody.
