Asyraf Awang Besar

Asyraf Awang Besar (born August 20, 1995), commonly known as Asyraf (pronounced "Ashraf", ), is a Bruneian Singer, Songwriter, designer and a Student. Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and raised in Berakas A, Brunei and Gadong A, Brunei. During his school years (2001-2006), he got bullied by some other kids and it was really hard for him. He said "My old school is freakin boring as a hell and i couldn't survive at school for most at the time". In Spring 2006, he moved to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, his mother's hometown.

He can speak English, Malay, Bruneian, Indonesian and some Javanese
Biography
Asyraf was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. During his childhood, Asyraf and his family settled in Gadong Town, . Asyraf said that watching Destiny's Child perform on a television program while staying home from school inspired her to pursue a career in music. Then in 2008, he joined the Weekend Splash Concert season 5 and worked on his songwriting.. Asyraf is well known as the youngest contestants of the Weekend Splash Concert. When he came to the competition, he felt scared. During the audition, he sang "Forgive me" by Leona Lewis. The judges said he was strong, soulful and spiritful. He came ninth in the first episode with thirty people. In the second episode, he came fourth. In the third episode he came first and he won the challenge. In the concert, he sang "Miracle" by Paramore. Around nine million people voted him out of eighteen million people. He came fourth in the compettion and all people believed that he is a small town boy with big heart.
Perfume
Asyraf endored his first fragance "Version Red" in October 2008. Nearly twelve million people in USA and around five thousand people in Brunei bought his first fragrance. But sold in December.
