Asif Pervez

Asif Pervez (born on July 15, 1976) at Karachi, Pakistan. He is a Pakistani Researcher known for his valuable contributions in the area of Business Process and Supply Chain. He is the founder and head of QuBpro Research Institute, a not-for-profit research institute for the research and development of CBOK - Common Body of Knowledge of QuBpro - Quality Business Process Chain Management led by research scholars.
Early life
Asif completed his matriculation and intermediate from Karachi, Pakistan. His parents migrated from India in early 1970s. His father was a doctor specialized in anesthesiology who passed away in July 2012 due to cancer. Asif was married in 2002. The couple have two children, a daughter and a son.
Professional Life
Late 1996 after completing the school and college education he started his business studies in University and did his bachelors and masters. He started his career serving in his university and then served educational, telecommunication and manufacturing sectors. During his professional pursuit he did number of trainings and education in Project Management, Quality Management and in Quality Management Systems. Asif evolved to be a Business Process and Supply Chain expert and a researcher.
Asif was involved in the Supply Chain for the TB Dots Program in consultation of NTP - National TB Control Program and GFATM - Global Funds to Fight AIDS TB and Malaria and UNFPA - United Nation Fund for Population for family health.
Asif posses track records for the development, improvements and optimization of Supply Chain and Business Processes. Asif has provided practical solutions in the shape of various QMS - Quality Management Systems and Process BluePrints for ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Business Software that establish standards, KPI - Key Performance Indicators, KRI - Key Risk Indicators and Score Cards reflecting quality frameworks and blueprints in the areas of Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and Accounts. Among core techniques also includes Business Processes Improvement programs BPM - Business Process Management, BPR - Business Process Reengineering and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
