Ashish Gurung

Ashish Gurung is the co-founder of QuikPiq Media. He was recently named one of Surrey's Top 25 under 25. He is also on the Board of Directors for Kina Social Ventures., a non-profit helping girls in Nepal by providing educational opportunities.

QuikPiq is a web and iPhone application that allows people to connect to friends and discover new products while they shop. The company was named one of the Top 5 Canada's Next Great Startups by the Impact Entrepreneurship Group.
Education
He attended Simon Fraser University (SFU) from 2005-2010 and received a Bachelors of Business Administration. Entrepreneurship and Management & Technology concentrations. Minor in Interactive Arts and Technology.
Extra-curricular activity
Gurung was the 2008/2009 President of Students in Free Enterprise and received the ACE Dave Henderson Entrepreneurial Leadership Award. He also served on the SFU Venture Connection Council of Partners from 2007 to 2009. He has volunteered his time to help businesses, youth, high schools and at-risk youth.
