Ashburnham Insurance Services Limited
|
Ashburnham Insurance Services Limited was formally known as Robert A Rushtons who were a nationwide high street insurance broker. Rushtons themselves began trading in 1947 with a branch later opening at 76 London Road, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The management of this Southend office then took over in 1995 when Ashburnham Insurance Services Limited was formed. The new name was decided on due to the office location being on the corner of Ashburnham Road.
Following the take over, business ideas moved forward from the high street broker approach and the inclusion of commercial products to their portfolio along with internet advertising helped achieve considerable business growth and in 2001 the business was forced to move to a larger premises albeit only a few yards down the road at 80 London Road, Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
The management at Ashburnham still remain the same to date along with many of their staff and customers who have stayed with them through the change from Rushtons to Ashburnham. Their loyalty together with the ever increasing client base that Ashburnham has shows the high levels of service and competitive rates that they offer.
The competitive rates come from several years of building partnerships with leading Insurance Companies and the inclusion of these rates on their online quote system for both landlords insurance and liability insurance has made this their primary business income. In 2005, MMA Insurance agreed a full electronic trading platform for liability insurance with Ashburnham meaning their client's can now go online, obtain a quotation and proceed with a liability policy on their website. Regardless of this, Ashburnham remain true to their roots and still offer customers the ability to conduct business over the phone or face to face in the office.
All their staff are highly experienced and knowledgeable and are committed to providing customers with an excellent service. Ashburnham and all the Insurance Companies they deal with are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) offering customer protection.
