Asha Daudi Abinallah Also known as Asha D. Abinallah or AshaDii(Born 23 June 1981) is a Tanzanian Media and Data Journalism Consultant and the Founder of Media Convergency a multi-disciplinary ICT-cored company that appraises information and applies technological innovations and applications that provide impactful digital solutions. Family Life Born and raised in Mbeya, a region in the Tanzanian Southern highland - Abinallah is the first born in a family of two children. Abinallah has 2 children and currently resides in Dar es Salaam with her family. Education Asha Abinallah received her bachelor's degree in Medical Sociology and Archaeology from the University of Dar es Salaam. She furthered her studies in journalism and received a master's degree in New Media from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom in the year 2020. In 2019, she did a one-year advanced course in ‘Media Development in a Democratic Framework’ implemented by the Fojo Institute, Linnaeus University in Sweden. She has done courses in Research, Internet Governance, Digital Skills, Data and Visualization and Business Management. Career Abinallah began her career life at JamiiForums, popular East and Central African platform and discussion forum. Asha pursued her journey to the ICT world at JamiiForums in early 2011. In September 2020, Abinallah founded Media Convergency Company a multi-disciplinary ICT- cored company. She is currently working in partnership with DW Akademie on the Women At Web Project; the project aims to illustrate that the internet can be an enabler for the economic development of girls and women.
