Ash Miller (born 24/06/1991) is an Australian Racing Driver currently competing in the 2011 Renault Clio Cup United Kingdom season for Scuderia Vittoria. Miller debuted in the series at the final round of the 2011 AirAsia Renault Clio Cup held at Brands Hatch GP. Miller's previous car racing experience hails from the CUE One Hour Endurance Series, where he campaigned a Mazda MX5 en route to an unbeaten run to claim the 2010 One Hour Endurance title for class 2E. 2010 also saw Miller clinch the 2010 Mazda MX5 Australian Championships, adding to his 2009 Mazda MX5 Queensland Championship victory. Prior to this, Miller enjoyed success in kart racing, with multiple wins and a podium at the 2004 Queensland Bituman state karting championships held in Townsville. In addition to his competition, Miller is also an experienced race instructor with both the V8 Race Experience and Paul Stokell Driving Events. Miller also campaigned as part of Queensland University of Technology's Formula SAE team, as both driver and Media and Communications Co-ordinator for the student-based Brisbane team. 2011 has seen Miller run with John Prefontaine in a 2004 Lotus Elise in the CUE One Hour Endurance Series for the opening part of the championship, before racing in the Clio Cup and focusing his attentions on furthering his career in the United Kingdom. Outside of racing, Miller is also a 6x Queensland State and 4x Australian National Irish Dancing champion, forging a career in Europe dancing with the Gaelforce Dance Irish Dance troupe in 2006 and 2007. Career best results include placing in the 2006 All-Ireland Irish Dancing Championships and 11th place in the 2007 World Irish Dancing Championships held in Glasgow. Miller also holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree, having graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2010. Gallery
