AS IS Stokes Foundation

AS IS Stokes Foundation is a non-profit organization providing scholarships in honor of the Stokes family of Dresden, Ohio. In memory of Ivan Stokes and in honor of Audrey Stokes, the As Is Stokes Scholarship Fund was established in 2006. Recipients of the As Is scholarship are graduates of Tri-Valley high school pursuing a college degree. Ivan Stokes was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. He worked hard to provide a good life for his family and always encouraged the pursuit of a college degree. To honor his legacy, the As Is Stokes Scholarship Fund was established to support the students from the local school pursuing a college degree. The recipient of the first AS IS Stokes Scholarship was recent Tri-Valley High School graduate Caleb Priest, who received the award from Audrey Stokes. The scholarship was awarded in memory of Dresden resident Ivan Stokes. He attended The Ohio State University where he will study Animal Science in the Pre-Veterinary program. The scholarship was established in memory of Ivan Stokes and made possible by the gifts from family and friends. Donations for future scholarships may be made at Huntington Bank.
