Aron Nels Steinke is a comics artist, illustrator, zinester and educator living in Portland, Oregon. He is best known as the author of the autobiographical / fantastic self-published autobio minicomic series Big Plans and The Super-Crazy Cat Dance. In 2009 he completed his first graphic novel Neptune, which was published jointly by Tugboat Press. and Sparkplug Comics Early life Steinke grew up in Vancouver, Washington and attended Camas High School. He attended Clark College and then Vancouver Film School. Current projects Steinke recently published an expanded children's book edition of The Super Crazy Cat Dance with Blue Apple Press.
