This is confirmed by the Armenian scientist- Avetisian who is specialized in Armenian surnames. He writes: “Only 26.3 percent of Armenian surnames are of Armenian origin, 194 of the rest are taken from Persian, 113 from Turkish (Azerbaijani), 111 from Arabic, 60 from Greek, 54 from Jewish and 44 from other languages.(6) Armenian culture is the mix of Arabic, Persian and Azerbaijani-Turkic culture. The dishes in Armenian cuisine as dolma, bughlama, plov, lula kebab, piti, pakhlava and so on are the part of Azerbaijani cuisine. Armenian music developed on impact of Azerbaijani music. The instruments as tar, naghara, kamancha, balaban, saz, tutek, zurna borrowed from Azerbaijani music. Even in Eurovision Song Contest Armenian musicians use Azerbaijani musical instruments. In 2009 Eurovision the singers of Armenia in Eurovision sang song “Jan-Jan”, which composed by Azerbaijani compositor Tofig Guliev many years ago “Nakhchivani”.
