Armada is a game of mental skill played by two opponents moving figurine symbols of combatant ships -- Aircraft carrier, Battleship, Cruiser, Destroyer, Submarine, Mine-ship, Patrol- ship, with the objective of capturing the opponent’s Flagship (the Battleship.) * Attributes of each ship vary: armor, firepower, speed, cruising range, maneuverability, and the players’ psychological prowess in positional strategy, applying to advantage these attributes. * Similar in spirit and realism of a naval engagement, the players encounter each other’s fleet on the high seas on both sides, and at various points of the equator --struggle for victory. * The battle zone (playing board): divided into quadrants and further into areas of jurisdiction occupiable by individual ships with coordinates of latitudes (north-south) and longitudes (east-west). marking the geographical position of a ship in the same manner that any object at sea (or on land) is charted on the earth’s surface. Games may be recorded and re- played for analysis of the moves. * The capture of the opponent’s Flagship in the specified number of moves and playing time is ‘ünconditional’ victory; otherwise, the game results in a truce. The value points of the ships then remaining on the board determine the conditional win in such a game. * Recall the naval battles since the ancient era, the middle ages until World Wars I and II made famous in the latter centuries by such names as Trafalgar, Tripoli, Leyte Gulf, Tsushima, etc. Armada Games will then be history’s reference for modern man to simulate these famous battles at sea -- recreationally.
