Ariful Hasan Opu

Ariful Hasan Opu () is a young emerging entrepreneur of Bangladesh. He is one of the director of "Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services" (BASIS). He also the founder of doctorsbd.com, First Health and Medical based web portal in Bangladesh.
Birth and family
He was born on 5 May 1977 in Feni town. His father is Engineer Amin Ahmed and mother, Hasina Amin. Among four brother and two sister he is in fourth position. His wife Farzana Hoq is an Architecture and they got married in 2011.
Education
He complete his H.S.C from "Lasker Hat S.C Laha Institution" in 1993 and S.S.C from "Chagalnaiya Government College" in 1995. In 2001 he complete his diploma in Computer Science under advanced information technology. He also complete his M.B.A from "Stamford University Bangladesh" in 2004.
Scientist Opu
In early age he was very much interested to be a scientist. He achieved 7 times Award for Best Science Project organized by Ministry of Science Information and Communication Technology. He also achieved 32 award for attend various "Science and IT Fair". He is also the mentor and judge of "Children Science Congress".
Career
Once the young scientist Opu start his career as an employee in an IT farm. Later he establish his own IT farm named e-Soft. Now he is the CEO of e-Soft. Later he selected as the convener of "BASIS Students' Forum". He also the director in charge of Standing Committee on Web Content and e-Marketing as well as Standing Committee on e-Commerce & e-Learning of BASIS. He participated in many international conference and Exhibition as BASIS Delegation in India, Turkey, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark and USA. He has conducted IT industry teams to negotiate on behalf IT business houses with different departments of government and development partners as well.
