Arhebis
Etymologically arhebis is a hybrid word because of its different component parts derived from different linguistic contexts. According to Aristoteles, arhé (gr. ΑΡΗΈ) has the following meanings: point of movement, source, origin, authority, fundamental. As an extended etymologically explanation: the Latins translated arhé by principle (lat. principium). Other meanings of the therm arhé are: model, concept, pattern, paradigm. Bis, the second part of the word arhebis, represents the abbreviation of Business Intelligence System (BIS). The term arhebis was created by business architect Calin Rus to denominate the BPMI technology built together with software architect Daniel Jian.
