Ardrums Little and Great Ardrums

Ardrums Little and Great Ardrums are townlands in County Meath and in the parish of Summerhill. They are also in the Barony of Upper Deece and in the parish of Rathcore. Ardrums Little has 198 acres in its estate and Great Ardrums has 613 acres in its estate.
Leitrim Road
When the land commission was selling land to people from the the West of Ireland the majority of the people were from County Leitrim who settled in Ardrums. The last living person from Leitrim to settle is Mrs. Mary Gill.

* Eileen Lawlor (now Dardis), she won 10 senior All-Ireland Gaelic Football championships with Kerry and she got awarded with 5 All Stars Awards.

* Padge Gill (he was a successful jockey).
Ownership
The Right Honorable Lord Langford owned Ardrums Little and Great Ardrums. The Right Honorable Lord Langford sold Great Ardrums to Captain Mangan.
