Aram Hampson

Aram Seamus Crow Hampson (born July 11, 1973) is an American health, medicine and science commentator, photographer and amateur YouTube style documentary filmmaker. He is best known for his film Uncle Sam's Kids: Generation CPS which premiered on The Alex Jones Show in 2013. Aram is also notable for a nationwide news story about his daughter being tazed by Oregon state police, which was featured on The David Pakman Show the The Alex Jones Show and multiple FOX, ABC and NBC affiliates across the United States. Hampson's reporting was also featured on CNN iReport regarding the financial crisis and rise of the American Tent City of 2008.
Early life
Hampson was born on July 11, 1973 in Grants Pass, Oregon and grew up in the Rogue Valley. His mother Ruth, was a school teacher in Rogue River, Oregon and his father worked for the State of Oregon and the United States Forest Service. Hampson attended Rogue River High School graduating class of 1991. Hampson participated in Track and Field and Cross Country winning state titles in 1990 and 1991. Aram is of German, English, and Irish descent.

Hampson is notable for his film "Uncle Sam's Kids, Generation CPS", a 30 minute featured documentary on The Alex Jones Show which centered around the controversy of the United States Child Protective Services system and . The film also discusses about his experience with the Oregon Department of Human Services. Hampson has appeared on several Infowars broadcasts. Hampson is credited for his other films, also presented on The Alex Jones Show and for earlier documentary style work in 1990s regarding the AIDS crisis.
Hampson received a first place award from the History Channel and the television show Intervention, for a Public service announcement he wrote and directed in 2006. The advertisement ran on Charter Cable and was featured throughout the Northwest United States. Oregon Congressman Greg Walden personally presented the award at a regional ceremony hosted by the History Channel. Hampson also received media attention for the documentary film American Derelict, which detailed the lives of several of Southern Oregon's homeless.
On June 16, 2013, Aram Hampson's handicapped 11 year old daughter escaped their home at around 4 a.m. His daughter was stopped by a local taxi driver as she was running down the southbound lane of Interstate 5 in Oregon, outside of Ashland, Oregon . The Oregon State Police responded to the call. State police proceeded to use a taser on the girl to force compliance as she is obviously verbally unresponsive due to Autism. Debates sparked online about if the tasing of Hampson's 11 year old girl was necessary. The story was featured on The Alex Jones Show and The David Pakman Show, it was also featured on KDRV, KTVL, KOBI and many other nationwide online news websites.
Hampson is on the "Top 10 Male Reporters" list for Infowars, ranking in at 6th place.
