Anthony Youn (born 1972) is an author and a Board-certified plastic surgeon based in Troy, Michigan. He is an advocate of holistic plastic surgery and non-invasive self-care routines and practices. Early life and education Anthony Youn was born in Detroit in 1972 to Steve Youn and Kim Youn, who migrated to the US from South Korea. Steve grew up in a family of nine in rural Japan. He later relocated to Greenville, where he served as the town's ob-gyn doctor for over two decades before retiring. He studied at Greenville Senior High School and graduated in 1990,) He lives in Birmingham, MI (a suburb outside of Detroit) with his wife and two children. Youn is affiliated with William Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Books and other published work Youn has authored 3 books. His first book, In Stitches, was published in 2011 as a memoir focused on life growing up in a largely Caucasian community as a self-conscious and studious young Asian. |
