Anthony Miner

Anthony Miner is a key hair stylist for many television shows and films, including Heroes and Pirates of the Caribbean. He has also written several books.

Anthony is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and a graduate from the University of New Mexico; where he studied theater arts and film criticism. His first professional job was working for Warner Bros. Records as a Dance Music Promotion Manager, then at Sony Records, and lastly at Virgin Records as an A&R Manager. After leaving the music business, Anthony enrolled in the Hair Styling program at Wilfred Beauty Academy, graduating the top of his class. After graduating, he landed a job as an assistant hair stylist at Umberto's in Beverly Hills, which lead to his first job in the entertainment industry. Since then, he has worked on Pirates of the Caribbean, Charlie's Angels, Domino, Til Death, Numb3rs, Celebrity Duets, The Wayne Brady Show, The Insider, Entertainment Tonight, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Heroes, to name a few.

Anthony's lifelong study of human nature provoked him to share his philosophies on relationships as an informal expert. Seeing the instant behavioral change he has brought to many individuals, he decided to share his expertise with a much wider audience. His first medium was an advice columnist for the 3rd Street Villager newspaper and then writing a self-help manuscript for men called East of Venus, later turning it into a television script, which compelled him to write his latest book, If You Like Chocolate Eat Chocolate.

Anthony is currently writing his next book, The American Breast Feeder. Anthony works and lives in Los Angeles, California.
