Anshuman Jhingran

Anshuman Jhingran (born 13 March 2005) is an Indian open-water swimmer from Navi Mumbai, India.
Career
At just 18 years and 125 days old, Anshuman became the youngest person to cross the treacherous North Channel, swimming from Northern Ireland to Scotland in 11 hours and 28 minutes, a swim known for its frigid waters and dangerous jellyfish. This achievement earned him a Guinness World Record.
Anshuman has also crossed the 32.3 km Catalina Channel in California and the 45 km Molokai Channel in Hawaii.
Currently, he is training for the Ocean 7 challenge, an elite series of seven marathon swims in some of the world’s most difficult waters, including the English Channel, the Tsugaru, and the Strait of Gibraltar. He aims to complete this challenge before turning 22.
