Annie Thorisdottir

Annie Thorisdottir (Icelandic: Anníe Mist Þórisdóttir) is a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavík, Iceland.
She is the only female to win the CrossFit Games twice (in 2011 and 2012), a feat matched on the men's side only by Rich Froning Jr., who won both those years as well. She also placed second in the 2010 CrossFit Games. She did not compete in 2013 due to injury, thereby losing her chance to establish a dynasty alongside Rich Froning Jr. (who won for the third consecutive year in 2013).
She placed first for women at the 2013 Dubai Fitness Competition, taking away more than Dh650,000 in prize money.
Thorisdottir trains four hours per day (six days per week), and also has experience as a gymnast (eight years), ballet dancer (two years), and pole vaulter (two years). She is 170cm (5'7") tall, weighs approximately 67kg (148lbs), and hopes to go into the medical field. She is dating fellow CrossFitter Frederik Aegidius (from Denmark).
