Anne McGinty

Anne McGinty (b. 1945 in Findlay, Ohio) is an American composer, conductor, and publisher who has written many pieces for concert band. She is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) as well as the National Flute Association (NFA). She has performed as a solo flute player with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, the Tucson Pops Orchestra, and the TSO Woodwind Quintet. She is married to composer John Edmondson, with whom she operated Queenwood Publications until 2002, when it was sold to the Neil A. Kjos Music Company.
