Anna Furong Glenn (born April 27, 1998 in Nanchang) is a Chinese born-American Level 10 artistic gymnast. Personal life Glenn was adopted from China in 1999 with her twin sister, Grace. She currently attends South Mecklenburg High School and will graduate in 2016. Following graduation, Anna will attend UCLA and will compete for their NCAA Gymnastics team. Competitive History Glenn qualified to Level 10 in 2012 and competed in the 2011-12 season. In 2012, she placed 4th at the North Carolina States and then first at the Region 8 Regional Championships. She advanced to J.O. Nationals, finishing 19th. In 2013, Anna won both State and Regional Championships and eventually placed 19th at Nationals, like the previous year. Glenn qualified to the 2014 Nastia Liukin Cup and came 12th in the Senior division. During Championships season, she took home silvers at both State and Regionals and came 6th at Nationals. |
